Leon A. Brown receives 32nd Annual Heritage Preservation Awards
On February 20, 2017, Leon A. Brown was honoured to receive the Distinguished Service Award at Heritage Winnipeg’s 32nd Annual Heritage Preservation Awards, recognizing our family’s 90 year commitment to Winnipeg’s heritage community. “This award recognizes the special contribution of individuals or organizations that have demonstrated a concerted effort and leadership in protecting, conserving, promoting or communicating the historic and/or architectural values of Winnipeg’s built heritage.”
Since its inception, Leon A. Brown has strived to contribute to the architectural, cultural and economic development of Winnipeg’s downtown and the historic Exchange District through heritage building ownership. We provide more than buildings: we develop opportunities for vibrant progressive companies that are seeking a dynamic and economical urban experience.
We are thrilled to receive this award, and look forward to honouring it by continuing to contribute to the economic, cultural and social fabric of our city of Winnipeg.
